Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how payments and refunds work for all website design and related services offered by Dubavision. By placing an order, making a payment, or approving a project with Dubavision, you confirm that you have read and accepted this policy.
1. General principle
All services provided by Dubavision are custom and made to order. We do not sell pre-made products that can simply be returned. Every website, layout, structure, and configuration is created specifically for your business and your needs. For this reason, all payments for our services are considered final, subject to the limited situations described below and any rights that may apply under mandatory local law.
2. No refunds on completed or in-progress work
Once a payment has been made and Dubavision has started working on your project, no refunds are provided. This applies whether the payment is made by credit card, Interac, bank transfer, or any other payment method offered by Dubavision.
Work is considered started as soon as one of the following happens:
- We receive your payment and confirm your project in writing.
- We begin planning your structure, pages, or content.
- We start designing layouts or configuring your website in WordPress or any other platform.
3. Deposits, partial payments, and project cancellation
In some cases, projects may be split into several payments or include an initial deposit followed by one or more remaining payments. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all deposits and partial payments are non refundable.
If you decide to cancel your project after work has started, you will not be entitled to a refund of any amount already paid. Dubavision may, at its sole discretion, decide to stop the project and not charge any future unpaid amounts, but this does not create any right to a refund on amounts already received.
4. Interac payments and invoices
When you choose to start by email, you send us your project details using the pre-filled message that opens when you click on the contact button. After reviewing your information, Dubavision sends you an invoice with the amount due and the Interac payment instructions.
Once your Interac payment is received and confirmed, we begin working on your project and no refunds are provided. Interac payments are treated in the same way as card payments for the purpose of this Refund Policy.
5. Online payments and project form
When you choose to pay directly on the website, you complete your payment first and then receive an email with a link to a short form. This form is used to collect the information we need in order to build your website correctly.
By submitting this form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete. No refunds are provided if you change your mind after paying or after submitting the form, even if you later decide not to use the website.
6. Revisions, adjustments, and quality
Instead of refunds, Dubavision focuses on adjustments and revisions within the limits of the plan you purchased. Each plan (Starter, Pro, Enterprise, or any custom offer) comes with its own level of revisions, features, and support.
If there is something you would like to adjust on your website, we invite you to contact us. We will review your request and explain what is included in your plan and what may require an additional fee. Requests for changes do not give the right to a refund.
7. Technical issues and uptime
From time to time, websites and online services may experience downtime, technical issues, or maintenance periods. While Dubavision aims to provide a stable and functional website, temporary issues or interruptions do not give the right to a refund. In such situations, we will work with you and, when applicable, with hosting providers or third party services to restore normal operations as soon as reasonably possible.
8. Chargebacks and payment disputes
You agree not to file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider for services that have been delivered or started in accordance with the scope agreed at the time of purchase.
If a chargeback is filed, Dubavision reserves the right to:
- Provide documentation to contest the chargeback.
- Suspend or remove access to your website or related services until the matter is resolved.
- Refuse future work or services.
9. Exceptions required by law
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit any rights that you may have under mandatory consumer protection or contract laws that apply in your region. If local law requires a refund or a specific remedy in a particular situation, Dubavision will comply with those legal obligations.
10. Changes to this policy
Dubavision may update this Refund Policy from time to time in order to reflect changes in our services, our processes, or applicable laws. The version available on our website at the time of your payment or project confirmation will generally apply to your order, unless another version is expressly agreed with you in writing.
